Adrian Rogers served for more than 30 years as pastor of the historic Bellevue Baptist Church of Memphis, Tennessee, with more than 30,000 members. He was the Founder of Love Worth Finding Ministries, which still is an internationally syndicated television and radio ministry reaching into every world region.
Adrian Rogers was elected three times as president of the Southern Baptist Convention. He is the only leader to have ever been elected three times to this global post. He was involved in national leadership and personally consulted and prayed with five presidents of the United States.
Dr. Rogers authored numerous books, scores of articles and preached through every book of the Bible. His preaching collection is one of the largest in the world, numbering more than 3,100 different sermons.
He was a leader’s leader and biblical expositor par excellence. Dr. Rogers’ ministry will be studied by future ministers for decades and his messages will be read by future generations. He was no doubt the leading biblical preacher of the twentieth century and early twenty-first century.
